Rudbeckia laciniata is widely cultivated in gardens, and for it's large and beautiful cut flowers. As it is a native plant, it is used in many native woodland plantings.
Rudbeckia laciniata, the cutleaf coneflower, is native to North America, where it is widespread in both Canada and the United States. Common names other than cutleaf coneflower include cutleaf, goldenglow, green-headed coneflower, tall coneflower, sochan and thimbleweed.
This perennial likes part sun or shade and regular or moist soils. It will grow to be very tall in ideal conditions.

Seeds per packet: 20
Sow just under the surface of the soil and water in. Keep continuously moist. Temperature 20-22°C (68-72°F). Germinations in 21-60 days for most seeds, some may take up to 90 days.

I happened across Ferri Seeds website when I Googled a particular plant I’d been looking for. I was impressed by their selection of all types of seeds and their good product descriptions along with detailed germination instructions. I found the site and ordered on a Saturday. On Sunday I got a notice that my order had been shipped! The seeds were in my P.O. box on Friday. Such amazing service.
