Extremely rare double red flowers! Anemone coronaria is widely grown for its large highly-decorative flowers that resemble poppies. The flowers are visited by bees and other pollinators.
The Poppy Anemone plants form a tuber late in the season. The plants can remain outdoors throughout winter in zones 7-10.
These seeds are rare and in limited supply.
Type: Annual in most climates. Perennial in zones 7-10.
Height: 8", 21cm
Location: Sun or part shade
Seeds per packet: 10
Sow just under the surface of the soil and water in. Keep continuously moist. Temperature 20-22°C (68-72°F). Germinations in 21-60 days for most seeds, some may take up to 90 days.
Ornamental use only. Poisonous.
