An extremely dark petunia, appearing black, is actually a very, very deep purple/mahogany. The texture is lustrous, and velvety. The color compliments plantings with reds, purples and yellows well.
Type: Annual, blooms first year from seed.
Height: 10" tall, 14" spreading or trailing
Location: Sun
Seeds per packet: 5 pelleted seeds
Surface sow as light aids germination. Water the seeds in. Keep continuously moist. Temperature 20-22 C, 68-72 F. Germinates in 10-30 days.
About pellets: Pelleting is a coating that is sometimes applied to small seeds, to help with handling and sowing. Once the seeds are sown and watered, the pelleting is designed to immediately disintegrate to release the seeds. We pack these pellets very carefully, however if the pellets become crushed during shipping (extremely rare) please sow the contents of the package as the seeds present.
