Description

These easy-to-grow plants become smothered with colourful, semi-double flowers. The plants are semi-trailing and carry their flowers well above the foliage. Use in hanging baskets, window boxes, or for spilling over a low wall. Excellent for mass bed plantings. Colours are mixed and include red, orange, pink, salmon, cream and white.

Nasturtium plants are often grown as annuals, though are perennials in zone 8-11, re-growing each year!

Height: 18", 45cm

Location: Sun or part sun

Seeds per pack: 10

Germination: Start these seeds indoors in late winter, spring or early summer. Sow the seeds just under the surface of the soil, and water in. Keep lightly moist and do not let the soil dry out. Temperature (20-22 °C, 68-72 °F). Seeds germinate 10-30 days. If you receive these seeds in late summer or fall, store the labelled seeds in a refrigerator until they can be started indoors in winter, for an early start to the next season.
