Cotula is a cushion-forming plant with delicate yellow blossoms on top of slender stems. It has interesting, fine grey foliage, and grows well in well-drained soils, making it a great addition to a rock garden.

Sow just under the surface of the soil and water in. Temperature 20-22°C (68-72°F) for 8-12 weeks. Keep moist. They may be growing after this time. If they have not germinated then a cooling period is required. Cover them with plastic and place in a fridge for 3-4 weeks. Be sure they stay moist. After the cold stratification period they are then brought back to 20-22°C (68-72°F) for them to germinate. Germination can be 4-12 weeks after the warming period.
