Drosera adelae is a tropical perennial plant that produces long, sword-shaped leaves in a basal rosette. Unlike a lot of other sundews, the leaves of Drosera adelae do not move much, if at all when they catch prey. They can grow fairly large, typically being 10-20cm (4-8") long. Leaves may turn more red with excess light, generally also creating smaller plants if given enough light. Part shade conditions are ideal for this variety. Blooms often, though requires two genetically unique parent plants in order to make seed. Most often, these plants are reproduced from root cuttings.
