All Year Round lettuce is an old heirloom. As the name suggests, it does well in both hot and cold conditions so it is quite adaptable to spring, summer and fall planting. This hardy lettuce will perform even during wintertime in a cold greenhouse or under cloths - truly an all-year-round variety!
All Year Round lettuce produces medium-sized heads with buttery-textured green outer leaves and solid, crisp hearts. This reliable butterhead variety is ideal for successive sowings and is slow to bolt even in hot weather.
Seeds per packet: 100
Surface sow as light aids germination. Water the seeds in and keep continuously moist. Temperature 20-22°C, 68-72°F. Germinates in 7-20 days.
