Beautiful red-bronze leaves with flower ranging from red, pink, and orange! Canna is a perennial growing to 2m. It is hardy to zone 10 and is frost tender. The leaves reach their full colour when planted outdoors directly in UV light in a sunny location.
Type: Annual or tropical
Hardiness zones: Perennial in zones 10-11, elsewhere dig and store tubers for the winter
Height: Up to 2 meters, approximately 6 feet
Location: Sun
Seeds per packet: 3 large seeds
Scratch each seed with sand-paper, or on a rough stone or brick, then soak in a warm location for 12-24 hours. Plant seeds just below the surface of the soil, and place the container in a sunny window. A heat mat can speed germination, but is not essential as long as they are in a warm area. Germination is 1-3 weeks. Be sure to keep the soil moist during the germination period.

I happened across Ferri Seeds website when I Googled a particular plant I’d been looking for. I was impressed by their selection of all types of seeds and their good product descriptions along with detailed germination instructions. I found the site and ordered on a Saturday. On Sunday I got a notice that my order had been shipped! The seeds were in my P.O. box on Friday. Such amazing service.
