Unusually attractive leaves, this one is at the top of the league! The enormous leaves are up to 30cm across, with serrated edging and bright green centers that contrast dramatically with the deep black-purple of the rest of the leaf.
Growers have reported that this variety has proved reliably hardy to 15 degrees F making it a stunning garden specimen! Very rare fertile seeds.
Seeds per packet: 15 (these seeds are extremely tiny)
A sterile seed-start mix is ideal for these small seeds. Surface sow as light aids germination. Water the seeds in. Keep continuously moist. A heat mat or warm room is beneficial as the ideal germination temperature is 20-25C, 68-77F. Place in an area with good air circulation (no cover). Seeds germinate in 15-32 days.

I happened across Ferri Seeds website when I Googled a particular plant I’d been looking for. I was impressed by their selection of all types of seeds and their good product descriptions along with detailed germination instructions. I found the site and ordered on a Saturday. On Sunday I got a notice that my order had been shipped! The seeds were in my P.O. box on Friday. Such amazing service.
