Adenium obesum is a popular houseplant in temperate regions. It requires a sunny location and a minimum indoor temperature in winter of 10 C (50 F). It thrives on a xeric watering regime as required by cacti. A. obesum is commonly propagated by seed.
These seeds are from apricot, yellow and salmon coloured flowers. Will be a mix doubles and singles.

Obtain a container with holes in the bottom, to allow water to drain. Use a mix of 50:50 compost/soil and sand. Place the seeds just under the surface and water them in. These seeds grow in temperatures of 25-29C (77-84F). A heat mat can be helpful. It is very important to keep the soil moist until germination, and do not let the soil dry until the plants are formed. The seeds generally germinate in 10-30 days. After germination the heat mat is no longer required.
Ornamental use only. These seeds and/or plants are poisonous.
