Description
Large frilly, dark purple leaves grow on 90cm-1 m (2-3′) tall plants. An open-pollinated variety that is very slow to bolt. Scarlet Kale has great flavour either as baby leaf or mature kale, and the flavour improves even more after frost. Makes a handsome ornamental also.
Seeds per pack: 20
Germination: Start seeds indoors. Place just below the surface of the soil, and keep moist until germination, which takes about 7-10 days depending on the temperature. Do not use a heat mat.

I happened across Ferri Seeds website when I Googled a particular plant I’d been looking for. I was impressed by their selection of all types of seeds and their good product descriptions along with detailed germination instructions. I found the site and ordered on a Saturday. On Sunday I got a notice that my order had been shipped! The seeds were in my P.O. box on Friday. Such amazing service.
