Erythronium revolutum is a native species to the west coast of North America. It grows from an oval-shaped bulb 3-5cm (1-2") long, producing usually two wide, flat, mottled green leaves near the ground. This species typically creates pink flowers, though it will sometimes create white flowers.

This plant grows best in moist, rich soil, shaded by trees. It will naturalize over time by self-seeding, though as seedlings take several years to reach flowering size this can be a slow process.

This plant has gained the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.
