Riddell's goldenrod is a North American plant which grows primarily in the Great Lakes and eastern Great Plains of Canada and the United States.
Solidago riddellii is a perennial herb up to 100 cm (40 inches) tall. One plant system can produce as many as ten stems. The leaves are long and narrow. One stem can sometimes produce as many as 450 small yellow flower heads. It grows in wet prairies and marshy areas.
