Excelsior Foxglove is a popular tall-stemmed biennial or perennial known for its dramatic spikes of bell-shaped flowers in a mix colors, including pink, lavender, white, cream, and purple. Unlike common foxgloves that have flowers only on one side, Excelsior hybrids feature blooms that encircle the entire stem, often blooming in their second year. Attractive to pollinators, and easy to grow. This plant will self seed if you decide to leave the flower to form seed pods. Plant in sun or part shade. Also good for naturalizing.
