This balloon flower is loaded with vibrant, large pretty-pink flowers in early summer! The plant forms a tidy clump that is very easy to care for. Once the plants are established they are mainly self-sufficient, rarely to never need watering or pampering. Stunning when in full bloom!

Location: Sun or part shade. Blooms well in either location.
Hardiness zones: 3-9
Seeds per packet: 25
Surface sow as light aids germination. Water the seeds in. Keep continuously moist. Temperature 20-22C, 68-72F. Germination 21-60 days for most seeds, some may take up to 90 days.
Ornamental use only. May contain some toxicity.

I happened across Ferri Seeds website when I Googled a particular plant I’d been looking for. I was impressed by their selection of all types of seeds and their good product descriptions along with detailed germination instructions. I found the site and ordered on a Saturday. On Sunday I got a notice that my order had been shipped! The seeds were in my P.O. box on Friday. Such amazing service. It’s too early to comment on germination rates — I’ve just started the stratification process today.
