At relatively unknown perennial, the Sun Rose, also called Rock Rose, is an excellent low-growing perennial, ideal for rock gardens, or at the front of the garden. Each flower resembles a small rose, and the colors are vibrant! This plant is low-maintenance, and is fairly drought tolerant. Plants almost resemble a Primrose (Portulaca), but unlike Portulaca, Sun Rose (Helianthemum) doesn't need to be replanted each season as Sun Rose are perennial and will survive the winter! An excellent perennial to grow!
