Description

Starshaped flowers, golden-yellow, with creamy-white tips. Dark green foliage. Best with well-drained soil, and excellent plant for rockgardens. This plant had obtained the Award of Garden Merit (A.G.M.) from the Royal Horticultural Society.

Type: Hardy perennial 

Hardiness zones: 4-7

Height: 15cm, 6"

Location: Sun or part shade

Note: This plant species is known to have toxicity. Ingestion of these seeds or this plant can cause illness such as vomiting or diarrhea.

Seeds per pack: 5

Germination: Sow the seeds just under the surface of the soil and keep warm about +18 to +22°C (64 to 72°F) and moist for the first 3–4 weeks. After this period they will need a cold period for another 5–6 weeks. They will not yet grow during this time. Then bring them back to a warm room to allow the seeds to germinate.
