BLUE BEARDTONGUE Penstemon strictus
This native perennial wildflower forms large clumps with stunningly blue spikes of flowers throughout spring and early summer! Plants are evergreen, and are a favorite to hummingbirds and other pollinators. One of the easiest penstemon to grow, plants are tolerant of poor sandy soil, and drought.

Germination: Start these seeds early indoors. Place on the surface of a sterile seed-start mix, and keep moist until germination. Watering can be done with a spray bottle, or water can wick-up from the bottom tray (best method).
