Description
Lobelia is an ideal filler between other plants in hanging baskets, planters, and in garden beds. Flowers are produced in masses all season long, and add rich vibrant color to compliment almost any other colors. A must-have for shade areas!

About pellets: Pelleting is a coating that is sometimes applied to small seeds, to help with handling and sowing. Once the seeds are sown and watered, the pelleting is designed to immediately disintegrate to release the seeds. We pack these pellets very carefully, however if the pellets become crushed during shipping (rare) please sow the contents of the package as the seeds should be intact.
Germination: Can be sown indoors 8-10 weeks before the last frost date. Place seeds on the surface of a sterile seed mix (do not bury them), and keep moist and warm until germination (72-80F, 22-26F), which can take 3-4 weeks. Keep constantly moist, and do not let the soil dry out, or it can end the germination process. Grow in a partly-shady location. A sterile seed-start mix is important with these seeds. Be sure the mix is specifically formulated for starting seeds. Water using a spray bottle, or from the bottom tray so as to not disturb the seeds
