A perfect centerpiece for your Christmas table, or mantle, and a favorite teacher gift for the holidays! Amarylla plants produce multiple HUGE red blooms, that are eye-catching, and usually the talk of the event whenever we have them. The plants form bulbs, and after blooming you can keep the large bulb for another season! Amarylla are excellent house plants, and can be planted outdoors during the warmer months, in a sunny location. They are not frost hardy.

Seeds per packet: 10

Germination: Sow the seeds just under surface of the soil, and water in. Keep lightly moist and do not let the soil dry out. A heat mat is beneficial to speed germination, or a very warm room, and out of direct sunlight until germination. Seeds germinate in 30-60 days. Once growing they should be placed at 20-22 C, 68-72 F.
