Germination: Daylily seeds require a brief period in a cold environment before germination. Once you receive your seeds, place them in the refrigerator for 4-6 weeks (in original packaging). Then, plant the seeds just below the surface of a sterile seed-start mix. Most Daylilies will germinate within 4 weeks, though some may continue to germinate a little longer. If you are not planting your seeds right away, store them in the refrigerator until use.
