DWARF MALTESE CROSS Lychnis arkwrightii
This unique Maltese Cross has bronzed foliage, and a more dwarf growing habit than traditional Maltese Cross. The flowers are large, and an almost-neon orange! This is an excellent perennial for the front of the perennial border. Plants should be in a full-sun location to get the darkest bronzing of the foliage.
Type: Hardy perennial
Hardiness zones: 4-8
Location: Sun
Height: 12-14"
Seeds per pack: 10
Germination: These plants should be fairly easy to germinate! Your planting container should have holes in the bottom for excess water to drain. Place the seeds on the surface of your growing medium, and flatten the surface. Keep moist until germination. Once seedlings emerge, place the pot in a sunny place, or under bright grow lights. Plant outdoors when large enough to handle, or when they outgrow their pot.
