Large 10-20cm (4-8") early-blooming flowers that emerge dramatically on a bare tree in early spring, with the deciduous leaves expanding shortly thereafter, lasting through summer until autumn. This multi-stemmed large shrub is notable for its ease of cultivation. It is one of the most commonly used magnolias in horticulture, being widely planted in the British Isles, the United States and Canada! It is relatively tolerant to wind and alkaline soils (two vulnerabilities of many other magnolias).

We have been able to collect an unusually large amount of seeds this year (they are usually very rare to find), so we are able to temporarily offer these rare seeds at a discounted price!
