A dwarf variety of the various colors of Lupines native to the mountains and valleys of western USA, and can be quickly grown in gardens in Canada and USA. Will reseed for future seasons of blooms!

Type: Annual, blooms first year from seed

Height: 14 to 20 inches (40 to 51 cm)

Location: Sun

Note: Ornamental use only. These seeds and/or plants are poisonous.

Germination: Start these seeds right away to preserve viability, no matter the time of year. Lightly scratch the seeds between two layers of sand paper before planting. Do not bury the seeds as they require light for germination. Place the seeds on the surface of the soil and water in. Keep it continually moist. Once they are about 3-6" tall they can be planted outdoors in a sunny location. Water occasionally until established. Once established they are drought tolerant.
