Phormium are magnificently colored plants, with wide, strappy leaves, growing tall and bold! These seeds are for the variegated phormium (multiple colors on each leaf). The flowers are very showy, orange, and appear in late summer-fall, and are extremely tropical looking! Check out the pictures!

Germination: Your planting container should have holes in the bottom for excess water to drain. For best results, obtain a sterile seed-start mix, and place the seeds just under the surface of the pre-moistened growing medium. Keep moist until germination, which can take about 3 weeks. You can cover the container with clear plastic if you wish, to retain moisture until germination. Once seeds emerge, place in a sunny place outdoors if temperatures permit.
