FOREST LILY, SANDLILY Veltheimia bracteata
The Forest Lily (Sandlily) produces tubular flowers carried on a tall stalk reaching a height of up to 600 mm. The colour of the flowers is variable, and could be pale pink, dusky pink, orange-pink or deep rose pink, and is occasionally greenish-yellow. The plants grow well in shade or part shade. These seeds are rare and in very limited supply.

Germination: Tightly press the small seeds onto the surface of a sterile seed-start mix. Keep the seed in constant moisture (not wet) with temperatures of about 20°C (68°F) or more during the day. Night can be slightly cooler.
