LANCE-LEAF SUNDEW
PLANT
- Unit price
- / per
The lance-leaf sundew, one of the three sister sundews from Queensland, Australia is one of the easier to grow varieties as a house plant. Needing less light to grow well than most sundews, it would be happy in East, West or South facing windows. The plants available are approximately 4" across, though can grow up to 12" across in lower light conditions! If you prefer a redder colour to your plant, give it more light.
These plants will be shipped bare root.
Unlike our general soil mix for most sundews, we recommend using pure long fiber sphagnum moss as opposed to a mix of peat and perlite. Still only use distilled, rain or reverse osmosis water for this plant. Keep the growing medium damp to wet, we prefer bottom watering and refill the tray these plants are sitting in when it runs low.
Not self-fertile, this plant will however multiply from runners from roots.
