This is a compact form of Beach Aster. Erigeron glaucus is a North American native plant. Common name seaside fleabane, beach aster, or seaside daisy. From April to September, its stems bear violet-blue flowers with yellow centers, and fringed with about 100 petals. Unusual for its genus, the plant is somewhat succulent. Makes a nice groundcover plant.
