This hardy perennial is native to Europe, growing well in a variety of settings. Would be a great option for a rock garden and is a great plant for honey bees. Blooms from June to August and will flower first year. Blue-green foliage is marbled with a red-brown colouration.
Type: Hardy perennial
Hardiness zone: 4-10
Height: 6", 15cm
Location: Sun
Seeds per packet: 25
Sow just under the surface of the soil and water in. Then cover them with plastic and place in a fridge for 12 weeks. Be sure they stay moist. After the cold stratification they are then brought back to room temperature 20-22°C (68-72°F) for them to germinate. Germination is irregular over a long period of time, generally 8-12 weeks, but some can take longer. Do not discard the planting tray, as patience is needed, and they are well worth the wait.
