Rudbeckia laciniata, the cutleaf coneflower, is native to North America, where it is widespread in both Canada and the United States. Common names other than cutleaf coneflower include cutleaf, goldenglow, green-headed coneflower, tall coneflower, sochan and thimbleweed.
This perennial likes part sun or shade and regular or moist soils. It will grow to be very tall in ideal conditions.
