Makes an ideal houseplant throughout the year, as they do well indoors and don't require full sun at any time. Hang this little planter in the kitchen, bathroom, or anywhere that it can be seen and admired by all! Can also be used as a tabletop centerpiece!
Keep in an East facing window, or outside in summer, part sun conditions (too much sun can burn leaves).
Our Nepenthes Smilesii are healthy medium to large plants, growing nicely. Some pitchers may look a little different from the ones in the pictures as these are all seed grown.
Plants are shipped without the pot, with the roots wrapped in moist sphagnum moss.
This plant has been easy to care for, watered with rain water whenever the long fiber sphagnum moss starts to show signs of drying out at the surface.
Can be fed with either beta fish food pellets or freeze dried blood worms during the winter. From spring to fall we let them catch their own food.
This is a lowland pitcher plant, so it doesn't have any fluctuating temperature requirements.
