Description
A dwarf ornamental banana from northeastern India with spreading leaves with purplish-red midribs. The beautiful purplish pink flowers are held upright among the leaves. Musa mannii adapts well to both tropical and warm temperate climates. Grows well in filtered sun or shade.

Height: 60 to 150 cm (2 to 5 ft)
Seeds per pack: 5
Germination: Start these seeds right away for best germination rates. Your planting container should have holes in the bottom for excess water to drain. Before planting, soak the seeds for 12-24 hours. Sow the seeds just under the surface of a sterile seed-start mix and water in. Keep lightly moist. Keep at 20 to 25°C (68 to 77°F). Seeds germinate in 2-6 months.
