Description
Jovellan Punctata, also known as a calceolaria is a perennial flower. It can be kept as a perennial indoors in colder climates and moved outside after the last frost of the Winter and before the first frost in the Fall. This flower has a pale violet colour with purple spots. Naturally flowers between June and August. It's a great addition to any garden, though they prefer bright but shaded areas.

Germination: Start these seeds indoors right away for best germination rates. Your planting container should have holes in the bottom for excess water to drain. If they have not germinated after 4 weeks then a cooling period is required. Cover them with plastic and place in a fridge for 4 weeks. Be sure they stay moist. After the cold-moist stratification period they are then brought back to room temperature. for them to germinate. Germination can be 30-60 days after the warming period, though some can take longer.
