Magnificently semi double lilac-coloured blossoms! The flower stalks are strong and stable. Vigorous growth, very winter hardy, tolerates warmer and humid climates. Quickly rewards you flowers in early summer, and then cut the flowers back for a second flower show in late summer! An excellent cut-flower. Deer resistant.

Germination: Start these seeds right away to preserve viability, no matter the time of year. Sow the seeds just under the surface of a sterile seed-start mix, and water in. Leave them at room temperature for 4 weeks. If not growth appears a cold treatment may be required to break dormancy. Then cover them with plastic and place in a fridge for 4 weeks. Be sure they stay moist. After the cold stratification period they are then brought back to room temperature for them to germinate. Germination is in 14-45 days after the warming period.
