LUFFA, LOOFAH Vegetable Sponge Dishcloth Gourd, L. Aegyptica

This sponge can be used as a wonderful aid for bath and shower as it invigorates the skin without harsh abrasion. Known as the ‘dishcloth gourd’ because it can also be used to scrub dishes. Used in Chinese cuisine as a vegetable.

The plants form vines which can grow along the ground, or can be trained up a fence or trellis.

Seeds per pack: 3 large seeds

Germination: Place just under the surface of the soil and keep moist until germination.
