A North America native with large saucer-shaped pure white flowers and bluish green foliage. Drought tolerant and suitable for natural landscaping. Use for low maintenance plantings. Will lightly self-sow in suitable locations. Easy to grow.

Note: Ornamental use only. These seeds and/or plants are poisonous.

Germination: Place on the surface of a sterile seed-start mix, and water in. Keep at room temperature for 2-3 weeks. Then cover the container and place in a cold location (fridge) for 4-6 weeks. Then bring to warmth again for them to germinate. These can be started in late winter to early spring in a cold frame outdoors, as long as there is time for them to receive at least a month or more of cool temperatures.
