BLACK FUTSU PUMPKIN, Cucurbita moschata

Finally we've been able to get these seeds back in stock! These black pumpkins are large, with beautiful deep ridging, and have large bumps! Despite the only image that we have is in black and white, the color is outstanding, changing from black, and then each 'bump' slowly changes to a mahogany wood-color! These pumpkin seeds are rare and hard to find.

Germination: Pumpkins are easy to germinate. Plant in full sun, in the location that they are to grow, after all danger of frost is past. Plant about 1/2" to 1" deep. Keep soil moist until germination. Pumpkins grow in regular soil, but also can benefit with the application of fertilizer to increase fruit size. Consider environmentally friendly and natural fertilizer/nutrient solutions!
