UMBRELLA PAPYRUS Sedge Palm, Cyperus alternifolius
A pretty exotic-looking plant, the Umbrella Palm is loved especially by water-garden enthusiasts, as it likes to sit along the pond's edge. Easily also grown as a houseplant in pots, simply seeds regular watering to keep it happy. A great houseplant for those who sometimes kill their plants with too much love (aka watering). These plants are hardy outdoors in zones 8-11, or in colder zones they can be taken indoors for the winter.
